It's awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn't the same out of date rehashed information. Wonderful read!
One of the problems is that the only answer for some of these macroeconomic issues is time...

Bottom line is China is not going to improve working condition for its citizens overnight. What did working conditions look like for American workers in urban areas around the 1880's? It was pretty grim, it took a long time and a lot of work to improve conditions.

Unfortunately this is a very classical economic view, and in the long run we do all indeed die. But what can be done? It is good to see what's wrong, but a much more difficult thing to find a solution. In the absence of one, we wait and buy more cheap stuff.

I don't have time to read this whole article, unfortunately, but I do have a few thoughts to share while I am here, regardless of whether or not they are truly relevant to this post.

1. Great stuff, too bad I am ADD and too busy at work to invest time in actually reading past paragraph 3.

2. I always think about this when I see dollar stores. Or other cheap shit. Or when victorias secret sends me "free panty" coupons in the mail. Once, I called their 1800# and spoke to a poor defenseless customer service rep and asked "do you really think I am stupid enough to believe such a thing exists? I mean, really, FREE? somebody makes this stuff, right, there is energy required to produce it, so, how can it be free??" Anyhow, free is another debate...and another book I need to read. Thank you for being a conscious consumer ;)

3. I also really like this comment box. Nice design.
